Training Program

One-to-one Management Training Program

Management Training Programs offers new managers a complete training program. New managers are partnered with an experienced manager who will provide you with the practical and leadership skills required to manage a department and handle a variety of situations you will be responsible for supervising. As the manager trainee, you will learn the diverse facets of the commodity, human resources, planning budget objectives, and achieving financial results.

Retail Training Program

As a part of our active commitment to team member development, we offer team members an opportunity to take part in specialized on-line training and in-house training programs as an avenue towards a future career.

At Calgary Co-op, team members can advance to managerial positions, transfer to larger centres to increase their clientele and earning potential, learn and work in more than one department, or try out a position on a temporary basis (parental leave, temporary manager) before taking on a full-time position.
